Pacific Hope Church Covenant Agreement

As we have been saved by grace through faith according to the divine purpose of His

will and to the praise of His glorious grace alone, being brought to repentance and faith entirely for His good pleasure,

and having been baptized upon our profession of faith in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

we solemnly and joyfully make this covenant with each other.

With all humility, gentleness, and patience, we will bear with one another in love and

will diligently work and pray for the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

We will give preference to one another with brotherly love, contributing to the needs of

the saints and seeking to show hospitality to all.

We will live in peace, affectionately watching over one another by admonishing the idle,

encouraging the faint-hearted, helping the weak, and being patient with all.

We will not forsake meeting together in regular fellowship over the finished work of

Christ, and we will not cease to pray fervently for the Body of Christ at Pacific Hope Church.

By grace, we will train with discipline and instruction those that the Lord has given into

our care, desiring that they may walk according to the example they have in us.

We will equip ourselves with the knowledge of the Gospel of Peace in order that we may,

with gentleness and reverence, always be prepared to give an account for the hope that is in us.

We will love our neighbors as ourselves, rejoicing together with those who rejoice and

weeping with those who weep, continually bearing one another's burdens, thereby fulfilling the law of Christ.

As new creations in Christ, by divine grace we will strive together to make no provision

for the flesh, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, always setting our minds on things that are above rather than the things of this earth, that together we may walk in the newness of life, working out our salvation through holy living.

We will work together for the continuance of a faithful evangelical ministry in this

church, as we sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines.

We will cheerfully and regularly give, neither grudgingly nor under compulsion, to the

support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel throughout all nations.

If, by divine circumstance, we must permanently leave Pacific Hope Church, we will seek

out fellowship at another church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Holy Word.

May the immeasurable grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the sovereign love of the Father, and

the perfect fellowship of the Spirit be with us all. Amen
